Recent weeks have seen the publication of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change’s Fourth Assessment Report, with predictions of possible dire consequences for humanity if we do not deal with the causes and consequences of global warming. They have also seen the publication of the Irish Government’s National Climate Change Strategy, setting out a plan for complying with our European and international obligations.en_IE
