There is a need, however, to pay attention to the potential impact of mentoring on the parent ¿ youth relationship. Drawing on findings from two Irish studies of young people and parents attending youth projects, this article highlights considerations for research and practice in relation to mentoring and the parent ¿ youth relationship.	en
